Ch’íyáqtel (Tzeachten) has established strategic economic development goals to expand its sources of revenues and reduce financial dependence on government funding for its members’ social, cultural, and economic well-being.

We’ll help you register leases, sub-leases, assignments, mortgages, discharges, death certificates, permits easements, rights of ways, court orders, name change, proof of land title and other documents as requested.

The Ch’íyáqtel (Tzeachten) Finance Department operates under the Ch’íyáqtel (Tzeachten) Administration Law. It supports all departments with budgets and financial reports to ensure strong internal controls over all transactions while adhering to Council-approved policies. Completing annual audited financial statements is an essential function of Finance, as is the amalgamation of consolidated five-year budgets that assist the Council in making sound financial decisions. Finance staff perform payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions for all the departments and assist Managers with financial functions.

The goal of the Finance department is to support the stewardship of resources and provide the best service to staff, members, and business partners using the most up-to-date technology and systems.
